I Am Bri Tate!

 

I am formerly known as THEE Boss Strategist… and for good reason.​ For years, I’ve helped entrepreneurs turn ideas into income through branding, marketing, social media, business strategy and good old-fashioned figuring it OUT.

Then came Better Taste By Bri.

What started with selling plates grew into catering, private chef services, events, brunches and eventually my own food truck. I would cook for the homeless, churches, and community events. For 6 beautiful and successful years, I poured everything I had into building that business and serving my community.

Then, at 29 years old, I suffered a stroke.

And just like that, life required me to look at EVERYTHING differently.

While I’m incredibly grateful to still be here, I also had to accept that physically operating Better Taste By Bri and my food truck under its current structure was no longer something I could continue doing while prioritizing my health and recovery.

So after six years, Better Taste By Bri as we know it is coming to a close.

Not because I failed.

Because I’m pivoting.

And that pivot brought me back to something I’ve always known how to do: build, create, teach, market, motivate and help other people turn what they know into something profitable.

 

Welcome to I Am (The Brand).

This is a faith-centered platform built around business, inspiration, empowerment, motivation, entrepreneurship and PURPOSE.

Through I Am, I’ll be sharing e-books and digital resources covering social media monetization, starting and growing a business, branding, customer service, business relationships, mindset development and more.

We’re also introducing something extremely personal to me: a collection created specifically for Stroke Survivors, Stroke Supporters and Stroke Awareness. ❤️

What happened to me changed my life. So if my experience can help bring awareness, encourage another survivor, honor the people supporting us, or simply remind someone that there is still LIFE and PURPOSE after a stroke, I want this brand to be part of that.

We’ll also offer apparel for entrepreneurs, working moms, go-getters and people who simply refuse to give up, along with custom shirts, hoodies, blankets, mugs and more.

And while my business is changing, you may notice my content changing too.

In this season, I’m not building solely around what I want, what I like or what social media says I should be doing.

I’m following what I believe the Lord is instructing me to do.

Sometimes purpose doesn’t look like the original plan.

Sometimes you have to rebuild.

Sometimes you have to pivot.

And sometimes life reminds you that YOU are the asset. YOU are the experience. YOU are the story. YOU are the brand.
